  • Which software should I acquire?

Hello. I am new around here, sorry if this is the wrong place to post. I have the following doubt: I am willing to buy VSL instruments for the first time but I am a little confused about which software or package can help me with my current "work setup", mainly because of the variety of the software packages (Vienna Suite, Vienna Ensemble PRO 5, Vienna Instruments PRO, Vienna MIR PRO and MIR PRO 24) What I need to do is being able to play or connect the VSL samples in Sibelius 7 as an audio device (I already do it with Kontakt) so I can work directly with the score. In the other hand I would like to be able to open the VSL samples in Logic as a new instrument and work with the MIDI (as I do with Kontakt). Knowing these "requirements", which software should I buy from the "Vienna Suite, Vienna Ensemble PRO 5, Vienna Instruments PRO, Vienna MIR PRO and MIR PRO 24."? Thank you. (Excuse me if I am not clear, English is not my native language)

  • Basically, you don't need to buy any software because all VSL sample libraries comes with Vienna Instruments (the sample player) and Vienna Ensemble (the multi-instrument and mixing environement). You are already able to use your VSL sample libraries in Sibelius and in Logic without buying other softwares.

But if you are interested in the Pro versions of these software or MIR or Vienna Suite, I would suggest you try the free demo. (eLicenser Key necessary to try demos.)
