I have 2 2011 Mac Minis as slaves for a new Mac Pro. I connect them via VE Pro 5 to DP8. The Mac Minis run into a hub which then connects to the main computer. Do I need to worry about any sort of bottlenecking through the ethernet cables or the hub? Or are the only real limitations with the computers themselves (CPU, RAM, etc)? I just making sure I'm not unnecessarily bogging my system down.

If it's a hub, that's a problem. You need a gigabit switch. Dorico, Finale, Sibelius, Notion, Overture, Cubase, StaffPad

I will put one of the MacMini as Master and the Macpro as slave. The DAW does not need much power, VSL does MacBook Pro 2019 16" 64gb 4TB + 2 x Odisseey G9 49"
