  • Bottlenecking

I have 2 2011 Mac Minis as slaves for a new Mac Pro. I connect them via VE Pro 5 to DP8. The Mac Minis run into a hub which then connects to the main computer. Do I need to worry about any sort of bottlenecking through the ethernet cables or the hub? Or are the only real limitations with the computers themselves (CPU, RAM, etc)? I just making sure I'm not unnecessarily bogging my system down. Thanks

  • If it's a hub, that's a problem. You need a gigabit switch.

  • I will put one of the MacMini as Master and the Macpro as slave.

The DAW does not need much power, VSL does
