Hi there,

is there any possibility to delete individual patches? Years ago i started to buy the complete Special Editions. Meanwhile i own a lot of download instruments and some instrument collections. So there is no need for a lot of patches of the Special Edition because there a doubled by now. SSDs are quite expensive so i really need every single GB. Unfortunately deleting complete Special-Editions is no option because i still need some of the patches.

Hi Paul,

Quite some patches created for the Special Editions are different from the patches contained in the bigger VI Collections or Single Instruments (they may contain whole-tone mapping and also have different names). So if you exchanged them, you might always get a slightly different sound.

I know that´s not what you want to hear, but I´d definitely stick to having the "old" patches around, in case you want to alter any older arrangements.

Alternatively, you could bounce all tracks to audio and go on using only newer patches from a certain point on.

Another option: Keep those articulations you are using less and less on an external "normal" drive.
