I have a strange issue using VE Pro 5 on a windows 7 slave with an RME Raydat card and Kontakt 5. For some reason, when I host K5 in VEP and add 32 stereo outs (in K5 and VEP) some of them don't correspond to each other. For example, out 1-2 or 11-12 in K5 correctly correspond to VEP outs 1-2 or 11-12. However K5 outs 17-18 send to VEP outs 17-18 AND 19-20. K5 outs 31-32 won't show up at all in VEP as if they have already been used or are not routed correctly. Obviously, it sounds like a lame brain routing issue but I have quadruple checked everything including:
1) K5 standalone
2) VEP outs using other plugins.
3) fresh VEP file with fresh K5 instance and adding outputs for each manually from scratch. That yielded similar problem but with different channels.
4) rescanning VEP plugins
5) installing newest K5 today... I think 5.3.1 or something similar.
6) resetting VEP outputs and limiting to 32
I am hoping it is still some lame brain thing I am just not seeing, however, I could use any advice. The only thing I can think of at this point is a communication/translation problem between K5 outputs and VEP outputs when K5 is hosted by VEP but I can't figure out how to try resetting that.
