    Dear Composers,

    after installing VE and VI I have a question on how to connect my Sequoia Projects VE Insert with the preconfigured VE orchestral set which should stay loaded outside the program while switching my Sequoia projects.

    I guess it has something to do with assigning the instances of VE but I don´t know how that works besides struggling for a while here...

    You need VE Pro if you want to preserve the orchestra while switching projects. However, you can save your VE instance so you can load it again without having to set it up for different projects.

    BTW:

    What is a good idea for updating a bit?

     What would you suggest:

    1) using an internal ssd for Lib Sounds in my MackBook for achieving low latency and playing midi notesinto the sequencer with live feel etc...

    or

    2) switching to a VE Pro slave machine right away.

    I am looking for kind of overall improvisational "Stummfilm" vibe for production as far (as many tracks) as possible...
