  • How to register a Vienna Key

    Hi,

     

    Just bought a new Vienna Key, my present one was still working absolutely fine but worried that if it sulked (it's a few years old now) I'd loose all my licenses without any recourse.....

     

    So I've transfered my licenses to the new key - is there a quicker way to do this my licenses (37) took about 15 minutes of constant clicking and "checking inernet connection", etc Bulk transfer anyone?

    I went to register my Vienna Key on the product registration page but it won't accept a numbers only S/N. I also tried copy pasting the serial number using the "Steinberg" command in e-licenser but to no avail.

    So what is the correct process?

    Key Registering on our new website is in work, should be available as soon as possible.
    Proceder of Lincese transfers is eLicenser related, therefor out of our possibilities to make any changes.

    Hello Paul and all at VSL --

    Is the Vienna Key registration system fully updated now? I registered two new Vienna Keys (as "two-year replacements") during the last part of November, before the new website format went live, and they have disappeared from my list. Should I re-register them, or is this part of the website still a work in progress? I wondered whether I should address this in a public forum rather than contacting customer service, but I rationalized that it might give you an opportunity to update the status of the registration utility ;-)

    ViennaKey registration should work fine... I´ll check with your keys right away. 

    EDIT: They are registered, could you please send me a screenshot of your ViennaKey List  to support@vsl.co.at (that shows that you are logged in)?

    Thanks. We´re already looking into it (could take a little while, so thanks for your patience in advance).
    The keys are registered, we just need to get them displayed correctly now.
