  • If I want to run VE PRO 5 on two different systems, do I need 2 VE PRO licences?

    Hi there,

I have two different systems, one Mac and one PC.

I want to load sample libraries from PC, but I only have one VE Pro 5 licence on a eLicener USB key, if I want to run  connect my Mac and PC, do I need two VE Pro licences on the different systems? Or do I just get another USB key and register the same licenese on the new USB key?

  • If you are not instantiating VE Pro on the 'master' machine, but just connecting to it as a plugin, you don't need a key on that machine. If you are going to load VE Pro on both you need two keys. You have three licenses to work with. If you're going to load VSL samples on both, you're going to need to buy another key for the sample libraries of course.

  • Thanks for your help, I've got the idea. Just got another eLicense today and load the liencese the new USB key, plugged to PC and VE Pro is running.
