Hey all, I'm thinking about adding a slave computer to my setup.  I currently use a 2014 haswell iMac 3.5 intel Core i7 with 32 gb RAM as my primary rig for composing in Sibelius and recording in Logic Pro X.

I am thinking about upgrading my computer to a Mac Pro and using my iMac as a slave (also adding a few SSD's into the mix on both ends).  Has anyone had any issues with using iMac as a slave?  Do you think I'd be better served selling this iMac and building a PC slave instead?
