I am trying to work out how to control and automate the varied parameters, especially in the Advanced view, with the CC controllers on a midi keyboard.
I have been able to make adjustments with my midi controllers, after going through each one with the 'Learn' function, in the Stand-alone version of VI pro, but this does not work with VI pro plug-in.
I dont know what is your problem with learn function, but be sure you have "echo on" on track you want to use for assign and check that you have all routings in Vienna Ensemble done right. It is possible that you wnat to "learn" CC in different VI instance? This sometimes happens to me and I am figuring it out for seconds... 😉
Another thing is, functionality on controllers through VE Pro itself may not work (status = "experimental") ; so you want the controller to be connected to the host. And so when you write CC in the host, as long as the CC is assigned properly, VI Pro _will_ read it and work.
