    From Toontack tech support-

    "The problem is that VE Pro is NOT a tested and supported host sequencer for Toontrack products (see image attached), regardless if you have had some success or know of others who did. This was not tested by Toontrack so we cannot support EZD2 in this DAW."

    My EZ drummer 1 files do not automatically load into EZ drummer 2. According to tech support, EZ drummer 2 is made to automatically load EZ drummer 1 files.

    But NOT in VE Pro as it is un-supported. This is VERY inconvenient as it leaves my old masters without drums.

     

    Please advise.

    Hello toodamnhip,

    VE Pro identifies a plug-in by the properties of the AU component, i.e. its manufacturer and the AudioUnit name.

    Unfortunately, Toontrack decided to change the AudioUnit name from EzDrummer (v.1) to EZdrummer (v.2), this is why VE Pro cannot simply convert instantiated v.1 plug-ins to v.2 in your old projects.

    Our developers will change the way VE Pro identifies a plug-in in a future update to prevent such conflicts, so a fix is already scheduled, but I cannot give you even an approximate timeframe for it at this point.
