Hello everybody, this is the first thing i composed and produced with SE (Bundle 1 and 2) and Vienna Suite. Let me have your feedback please. 😊

Please notice that this was the 1st version: the second one is on soundcloud.com/francescopirrone among the other VSL tracks. Thank you for listening.

  • I just downloaded and listened to it.  Nice work, man!  I'm not an expert in VSL, but it sounds good to my ears.

  • Listened to all 3 of them. Sounded good to me! Rather original. I will say that you probably shouldn't tag them on soundcloud as 'Classical' as they sound more like the soundtracks of today than classical music.

  • Hello Francesco,

Sounds great, really! The VSL samples and and the reverb used in your Dropbox mp3 lets sound it very crisp and impressive.

What is the difference to the Version you posted on Soundcloud (in a "technical" sense)?

    Best, LenoT

    I am sincerely flattered!

I appreciate you picking up the tag subject, since tags are mandatory on Soundcloud i mean to use them effectively. I will take into account your kind advice, thank you.

Hello LenoT, thank you so much!!

    1. The soundcloud score basically has a broader winds arrangement.

    2. The dropbox version has been programmed, note by note, via the MIDI Key Editor, the soundcloud version is recorded track by track playing via master keyboard, with live control of the velocity X-Fade and keyswitching.

    3. The dropbox version has 1 convolution reverb (Grosser Saal from Vienna Suite) and each tracks has a post-fader send to this reverb. The soundcloud version has 4 Depths, with different Eq's and reverb settings (although is the same Grosser Saal convolution reverb) each Section Bus (Strings, Woodwinds, Brass, Perc) is routed through the respective depth. Always thanks to Beat Kaufmann for his incredible tips.

  • Your music sounds great Francesco! I will be purchasing some VSL libraries very soon, for the first time. Your music makes me excited to be able to use these wonderful instruments and their powerful player, "Vienna Instruments Pro" :)

  • Hi Daniel!

Thank you for your comment. I'm glad to hear you liked my music. The Special Edition is a powerful tool, it gives the chance to turn the ideas into fully rendered pieces. I actually use Vienna Instruments and i know the features of VI Pro because i had a demo license of it, it is very useful and i will purchase it for sure in the future.
