    I would love to be able to name VEP 5 instances without preserving them. I like to be able to close an Ableton session and have my VEP instance close with the project so I don't like to preserve them. But since I can't name them, it's very tedious to sort through all the instances in a large project. Am I missing something or is it not possible to name instances without preserving them?

    Hello Matt,

    If you save the VE PRO project (as shown on page 27 of the VE PRO 5 manual), you will see the project name displayed in the VE PRO Server Interface, which will make it easier to identify the instances.
