    Hi, Forum-mates!

I’ve been a VSL user since 2003. Last year I founded a company that launched an app called Cadenza. It’s for musicians. 😎 It lets you be the star soloist in a full orchestra performance. It’s the only app of its kind...you just play freely and expressively, while Cadenza fits the orchestra to your playing in real time—using real orchestra recordings, even!

Now, we're moving beyond the concertos of the great composers and adding movie and game music to the app this summer.  I want to find some great short arrangements to add to Cadenza.

I thought there could be no better bunch of folks to ask than you, fellow VSL members!

Here’s what I am looking for:

    • Great, full orchestra arrangements with lots of detail, variety and sparkle.
    • Scored for solo instrument + orchestra (concerto-style).
    • A great rendition of the performance (and a Logic/midi file).
    • The piece should not be too hard for the soloist.
    • Preference for treble solo instruments and cello.
    • Anything you think might be fun to play your instrument along with

Send me samples of what you’ve got, along with the cost to license a recording from you, and I will consider including your work in Cadenza!

Preference given to 2-3-minute full-orchestra, concerto-like arrangements of

    • Star Wars: Main Title, Princess Leia’s Theme, Imperial March
    • ET, Adventures on Earth
    • Jurassic Park: Main Title
    • Super Mario Theme
    • Final Fantasy, Legend of Zelda

If you have any questions, post them here or send me mail.

I can’t wait to see what you guys got!

    Cheers!
