  • Scores in musicXML

Hello everyone. I am learning to orchestrate with VSL's Special Edition. In order to get familiar with VSL I would like to practice orchestrating classical pieces(Mozart, Beethoven, etc). I see quite a few classical composers works orchestrated with VSL and posted here in the forums. Are the scores for these works manually input into the DAW or is there a website where I can find them in MusicXML or MIDI form?

  • http://kunstderfuge.com/ should have some classic orchestral pieces in MIDI form

  • George Pollen, on his website, http://www.gpollenmusic.co.uk has a lot of really well made MIDI files.  He also has many of the scores for his arrangements on ScoreExchange.

MusicXML files are harder to come by.  I've always thought it would be a great thing to start a website to exchange MusicXML files.
