  • Ordering Problem

    Hello.

    My problem is this. I ordered VIpro2 and SE strings vol 2 from Sweetwater. I also ordered Solo Strings 1 and SE vol 1 Strings from Guitar Center. I made these purchases on the same day, the 25th of July. I choose to split them up like this because of avaliblity. By the 28th Sweetwater had got my codes ready and I was satisfied. Today is the 29th and Guitar Center is still having any success in acquiring my codes. They said that it could be a couple of days or months before I can get my purchase. Now would I have the same problem is I went through this web site? This purchase has become a problem for me. I just read in the forum that if I had SE I would get Standard libraries at a discount. I choose this method of purchase because I have credit cards with both companies so it was easier so I thought to go this route. Is there some sort of backlog for activation codes? Am I wasting my time Vienna? please help.


  • Here's my experience purchasing VSL products indirectly. I have only purchased through Sweetwater and I get my serials and activation codes here on my VSL account within 24 hours, when purchased during the week. Why did I not purchase through the VSL website? Actually, I would have, but the pricing was actually better through Sweetwater at the time, than the price I would have paid with my credit card based on the currency exchange, again, at that time.

    As far as upgrades...I was sent an email from Sweetwater stating that they would honor the entitled discounts I have through VSL according to what I have ordered, which makes sense since that can be easily verified by my purchase history. As you know, it's all documented and accessible online. Westlake Pro also stated the same thing to me as well.

    I hope my experience-based response provides some insight. Sorry to hear about the Guitar Center delay. I can't believe it would take months; that sounds like a automated response. Besides, the guys at VSL are pretty helpful and very responsive. I'm sure when someone gets into the office, they'll further assist you.

    I've already replied to you per email!

    Every authorized dealer has access to our interface. If the respective order is accomplished correctly, the customer would get the activation codes straight away per email!

    Please contact your dealer from Guitar Center, it's not a problem at Vienna Symphonic Libraries side!
