This is my first attempt at orchestration with VSL. I sequenced the first part of Schubert's unfinished symphony using the Special Editions and Cubase 7. Any comments or suggestions on how to improve this would be appreciated. I used this recording more or less as a reference:

I like your rendering a lot, it is very plesant. I wouldn't say anything on the articulations etc.. they sound perfect to my ears.
I am assuming you are also interested in gettin comments on the mix: the soft part are nice and delightful, the loud parts are a bit harsh (in your reference track for examples the brass seems to be more distant, this becomes more noticeble in the loud parts). In the case you might be interested into getting a different positioning, more depth for the brass and a louder average volume (without adding to much compression) i would encourage you to check the Beat Kaufmann guidelines.
