My setup was recently working fine, then I added some new virtual instruments and now out of nowhere everything crackles and pops like rice crispies! In my Kontakt plugins the disk meter is constantly peaking and when it does my notes drop out. This is all on my windows 7 pc with 32GB ram and i7 processor. I don't have my samples on anything external yet (I know all about HDDs and SSDs) but the thing is IT WAS WORKING COMPLETLEY FINE WITHOUT THAT TWO DAYS AGO, so i don't see how that should be necessary as I recently didn't have this problem. I've adjusted latency settings to no avail. Logic is my DAW.
