Nothing changed in regards to plug-in hosting.

This thread got me to check "My VSL" to see if there was an update for VE Pro, and indeed there was for that and more.

This raises the question, is there any automatic notification system available that will inform me when such updates become available? So far it's just been a matter of me thinking to check myself, and often I don't think to do so for quite some time.

Yes, there is an automatic update checker integrated in VE PRO. Of course this only works if your VE Pro computer is conected to the internet...
