I tried VE Pro in Cubase and it works fine.
Now in Ableton I have a project where I tried to use VE Pro, but when I use the "external instrument" plugin in Live, I can only output to 16 channels of port 1. I can't access VE Pro's other 7 ports. How do I do this in Live? Manual doesn't have instructions for Live. :-/

Load the VST3 version of the plug. If Live can work with VST3...

Hi,
Unfortunately Ableton Live doesn´t support VST 3 yet, as far as I know. So you can either use the Event Input plug-ins or multiple instances of VE PRO.

Thanks, will try that. Looks like Cubase has the most comprehensive support of VE Pro 5.
