    Hi,

it's nice sometimes to come back to music with few instruments. Here is a rendition of one mouvement of a J.S.BACH's sonata, originally written for flute but played here with a VSL alto recorder. Harpsichord is VSL too, and cello "Emotional cello".

Mixed with Altiverb and Mir pro - Foyer (Virtual ORTF + center)

    Enjoy !

    J.S.BACH BWV 1034

  • That sounds excellent.  The recorder works perfectly for the flute part.

  • Absolutely delightful. Bravo.

  • Fantastic flute setting, the recorder serves the purpose well. Good mix too. The cello sounds rather different but has a lovely soft timbre.

Thanks for sharing this little marvel.

    Best wishes for 2016!

  • Thanks William, Fabio and Max for listening.

And Merry Christmas to everybody !!!

    Best.

It has been a since I listened here... Wow this draws my attention. Phillipe, I know the vsl alto is exceptionaly responsive and you are able to squeeze minute detail from the vsl cembalo. But this is just.... lively😊

I appreciate every inch of this performance. Why bother creating baroque music using sampled instruments? You again raised the bar. Serious music... (Would love to learn from the way way you apply altiverb.)

    Thanks,

    Martijn

  • Magnificent Philippe! You are a master!

  • Thanks Martijn and Wayne for your very kind comments !!

    Best.
