    I have a bunch of instruments loaded up in VEP, which is turn being called from Ableton.  For each VI, I select a particular bank and make whatever adjustments I need.

    One bank, though, is misbehaving: the crash cymbal.  I load up the Cymbals/Gongs preset and select Crash Cymbal as the bank.  Whenever I restart the transport control, though, it reverts back to the first bank (Piatti All).

    Any way to get it to stop doing that?  I tried putting the appropriate keyswitch into the piano roll, but that doesn't seem to make any difference.  But I also don't have any other instrument behaving this way (reverting to the first bank).

    Check what midi CC is being sent when you click transport restart. Most likely its a bank change message. Or put a midi filter in the VE Pro tracks and filter out CC messages.
