    Dear VSL,

    I have over the past year purchased many elements separately of the Percussion Standard library.  According to the website I do now own the complete Percussion Standard library as there is no price next to that library for me. However, I am missing the Wood Blocks and Temple Blocks from Mallets & Blocks.  Is it possible for me to either download these separately or have the complete standard percussion library assigned to my account so that I can get everything in one go rather than have all these separate libraries of different percussion instruments?  There may be some other things missing that I am anaware of.

    I have also found that the Triple Horn HO2_Dyn-Str patches are not working properly.  The dyn-med are fine but the 'strong' versions seem to be at a very low level of somehow corrupted.  Has anyone else found the same thing?

    I don't know about your triple horn problem but you might want to contact the sales department for the wood block temple block issue.  I have the standard library too and I have a price next to the product for me.  Not sure what's going on on your end

    Hello Andy,

    I´m afraid that you found a glitch here, the instruments you mentioned are not available as separate download instruments, they are only available with the bigger Percussion Collection. It is planned to add them as soon as we find the time (not scheduled, as it is not a super-high priority).

    Regarding the Triple Horn dynamic patches: Did you apply the Library Update for Brass II?

    Hi Paul,

    Thank you - The Percussion glitch is now fixed at your end and I can see that I need to spend more money to get the full Percussion I library.

    Regarding the Triple Horn Library updates...The only one available to me is named:  Horn Triple Full Library Update from 2011-11-13 and is a .viupdate.  How do I apply this update?  It looks like a PC file (even if I select MacOS updates only) and my Mac says there is no application for it.  I do not own Brass II as I bought the Triple Horn as a separate instrument.

    Hi Andy,

    Please check the instructions you find in the column to the left of MyVSL, it´s all there:

    "Library Updates

    Download all Library Updates for your registered Vienna Instruments Collections. Open the Directory Manager and drag the zipped files on top of it.

    Please note that you need the latest versions of the Vienna Instruments/Vienna Instruments PRO software installed on your system to runLibrary Updates.

    You may apply a Library Update multiple times without any side effects if you are not sure about the status of your sample content."

    Hi Paul, Thank you - I appologize for not seeing the instructions! After downloading the instrument again and running the update again I discovered that it was in fact the velocity cross fade level that was too low. The 'strong' dynamic patches seem to only sound properly with a high velocity level which is different to the 'medium' dynamic patches...at least for the Triple Horn. Anyway, my problem is solved! Thanks once again. Best, Andy
