    What would happen if I were two create two of these server systems, and connect them both directly via the 10 gigbit ethernet connection. Would VEP benefit from this or is there no need? Also, has anyone attempted teaming with dual ports of regular 1G ethernet?

    That particular motherboard seems unsuitable for audio work. With 10G ethernet enabled, the DPC latency goes through the roof:
