Dear friends,
I'm probably one of the many to come up with a sampled version of that wonderful piece from the Cantate 147, bit I somehow felt I just had to do this.
Years ago, I conducted a baroque orchestre in the school where I taught and we performed this choral many times with the students.
The approaoch is rather Italian opera style, but that's how I like it best. Unfortunately I don't have a decent vocal ensemble in my rig and therefore I had to use the Kontakt Choir. It's a vowel choir, but I've only used the aah-sound. I hope that someday I can do better than that with a syllable choir.
I've used the Chamber Strings with a couple of Dimensions and solos, the French Oboe, the Bassoon 1, the Cornet, the Organ (flutes) - all VSL, and the Kontakt Choir. MIR Pro, large church
Still, I hope you enjoy this version(s): one with MIR Pro and one with the Vienna Suite.
