  • Clarification Regarding The "C" Flutes

    Hello!

The last statement in the description of both Flute ! and 2 sys, "The Vienna Symphonic Library offers two different flutes as a single instrument download." Does this mean, you only need to purchase ONE of the flutes and you get both? πŸ˜•

    Thanx!

Oh, if only that were the case...

No, both flutes are available as seperate single instrument downloads.  They are two different instruments even though they are the same instrument.  Huh?πŸ˜•  Does that make sense? πŸ˜›

    Here's Flute 1:

    And Flute 2:

    Hi,

    2 players, 2 instruments.

ThatΒ΄s the case with quite some instruments in our collection, to give you more choice. Makes sense to us πŸ˜ƒ

    Best,
    Paul

Thank you for your response, Paul!

Just to be clear, with "Flute 1", we get two players playing "first flute chair", like a "flute ensemble of two players", and the same for "Flute 2"? Also, is it, that the only, or main difference between "Flute 1" and "Flute 2" is the tone colour?

I'm still new to this stuff.

    Thanx, again!

  • Hi GTBannah,

    ItΒ΄s not that complicated.

    Flute 1 => 1st Flute player
    Flute 2 = 2nd Flute player

The difference between those 2 players is the player and the instrument, and of course the resulting sound.

    Best,
    Paul

This is tha confusing part; "The Vienna Symphonic Library offers two different flutes as a single instrument download."

It sounds like you get two flutes when you download an instrument.

    Thanx, again!

It means: You can download a single instrument, for example just the Flute 1, or just the Flute 2. This is not the case with others instruments, for example with the strings.

    Thank you, for joining, Matteo!

Let's say I buy "Flute 1". How many flutes can I download, one or two?

  • You can download Flute 1 and only Flute 1.

However, you get free VIP player and VEP software with the purchase of any VSL instrument.

O.K., I finally got it! Thank you! πŸ˜³

I have the VIP and VEP already, with Epic Orchestra. I think I'm ready to expand a bit, now. πŸ˜Š

Thanx again, everyone, for your explanations! πŸ‘
