    Hi all

    Sorry if this thread has been posted before, but cant seem to find an answer anyware.

    I have a PC ready to use as a slave PC, I also have a spare elicenser dongle.

    I have SE strings 1 and also SE strinds 2 on my master PC

    My question is how do I obtain an activation code for my slave PC, or do I need to purchase the SE strings again for the slave PC

    I am not sure as to what to do

    The best thing to do is to contact sales@vsl.co.at and they will be able to talk you through the most cost effective way of getting what you want.

    I went ahead and took advantage of th 20% discount and got ahold of  V E P 5 so ok now

    VEP won't help you run the same sample Collection on two computers at the same time. Or did I misunderstand?

    It was me that was a little confused

    I thought by just using the activation code on a dongle and using it on the slave PC I would be able to down load another VSL library that I already have, thinking the same library can be on the master and the slave at the same time as long as I used activation code.

    But soon noted that this is only the case with V E P 5 as it comes with 3 activations.

    But still believed by some magical way it would allow me to use the same library on the slave PC and master PC

    but it is one activation per library so where ever the library is the activation must be, so need a lot more preperation before moving library to slave PC

    Yes, you can't use the same library on two computers at the same time without buying a second licence.
