re Dimension Strings Presets for the individual instruments
The Va, Vc, and Db Presets have the instruments panned (in the VI Pro internal mixer) to the center. This is what the Dimension Strings manual says should happen. It's also what Herb has said should happen, in a thread which I can't locate at the moment.
The Vl Presets, however, have the instrumented panned hard-left.
