Hi,
Are the ASIO guard 2 problems (silence when switching tracks) with Cubase 8 fixed in VEP6?
Still no VST3 plugin support within VEP server?
Regards,
Martijn

Hello Martijn,
You still need to disable Asio Guard 2 in Cubase 8 for VE PRO 6, there is no way around it.
There is no VST3 plug-in support in VE PRO 6, only VST (2).

FWIW, I find it the same on my rig with my settings as VEP 5 - set AG2 to low on a 256 buffer and it's fine, medium and it falls apart.
I have found a general CPU improvement though :-)

So VEP will never again work optimal with Cubase? Steinberg will never change it's engine in favour of one 3th party developer..... Hmz...
