Downgrade VEP 6 to VEP 5

I installed VEP 6 on my main computer before I realized that my slave (snow leopard) would not be able to upgrade to VEP 6. How do I downgrade my main computer back to VEP 5 temporarily, at least until I can get a newer slave.

Hi,

Use the UNINSTALLER you find in the Vienna Ensemble PRO application folder, then install the latest VE PRO 5 again.

so to say the VEP 5 can be open with VEP 6 License ?

another Question , can be the VST Instruments into the browser back like before reading the folder structure , instead of Vendor and Plugin Name ? as i have sorted my vst plugins into categories .

Hi, 

VE PRO 5 can be opened with a VE PRO 6 license that has been upgraded from VE PRO 5 (like the ones you have). 

Plug-in Management will be improved with one of the following versions of VE PRO 6.

That´s correct, VE PRO 6 files will not open in VE PRO 5, this only works the other way around.

But I created the files in VEP 5. Obviously I should have copied the files.

As soon as a file is saved with VE PRO 6, it cannot be opened with VE PRO 5.
