I haven't done this in a while and I seem to be rusty indeed. It's in my now-long-complete 3rd symphonic file and in the second violins. I can't get the samples to load and can no-longer set up the key switches, and dragging the samples won't load them. (I want to layer legatos with tremolos but I can't load anything.)loading files
I can't understand why this seems to be the only track which doesn't work. and I just seem to be back to first grade.
I'm running Pro 2.4

Happened to me recently. Make sure optimize is turned off or samples won't load.

Yes, optimize is off but the track is still mute. The names of the samples move in place but it doesn't show them loading.

What happens if you rebuild or reload this VI PRO instance in a new VI PRO instrument?

I have an earlier version of the file and if I copy the violins 2 with the endless and useless matrix files in that track all is well (except for the balances). I am aware that I can disable the unused articulations although I've forgotten the details but if I try to change to plain violins in SE and SE plus, I'm back where I started, that is a mute track.
I may try to reach my phone contact in California at Ilio but I imagine after the Labor Day holiday, that may be difficult to impossible. VSL Special Edition1, standard and plus, Konzerthaus Organ, Saxophones, Dimension Strings, VI Pro 1

But I did reach Ilio and got everything working as I did forget a lot of what I once knew. It would take too much time and effort to explain the setup so I won't at this point.
