Thining of upgrading the heart of my slave machine as sample libraries seem to be getting bigger and bigger to run inside VEP. Currently on 12gigs memory on an i7 920. 

Looking for most cost effective but reliable spec solution. What you guys using at the min as a slave PC that rocks?
