Has anyone used VSL Libs with Dorico yet?  What is the feedback?  I know the program was just released today, but I've got to believe there have been some beta testers trying it out...

Do articulations and expressions play?  Are there VST Expression Maps set up, or do the ones posted elsewhere here work?

It works but there is no way to use keyswitches (apart from maybe writing them in on a separate staff as notes), unless I am stupid and missed something big here. But they have clearly stated that the product isn't complete and will recieve a lot of updates in the coming months.

You won't find it useful with VSL at the moment. That's not to say that you can't use workarounds, but I wouldn't get too deeply into that until the Expression maps are not only available, but actually work...!

I found that you can right click on a vst plugin and there's the option "Setup Plugin Playing Techniques" but clicking it doesn't do anything. I'll be waiting eagerly for that button to work. Until then I guess I'll just load sustain patches and write pads.. ;)

Yeah - it's pretty disappointing to hear how limited the playback capabilities are (in conjunctionw with how high the crossgrade pricing is). I thought with Steinberg playback would be solid from the start.

Agreed that playback features are very limited, but the crossgrade price is really good. I've already bought two licences today.
