  • UVI Workstation

Does anyone know how I can get the UVI Workstation to show up in VEP 6?  I went into preferences and added the folder in the plugins section, but it doesn't show up as a plugin.

Also, when I navigate to the folder it appears empty even though the UVI plugin is in there.  I'm confused on this one.

    Thanks,

    Aaron

  • Hi Aaron,

are you sure that the file "UVIWorkstationVSTx64.dll" is in your VTS 64 bits folder ?

Did you recan after installing UVI workstation ?

    Best

  • Hi Philippe,

Sorry, I'm not too savvy with Windows having just gotten a PC slave not too long ago.  I only see a folder with the UVI Application and some other files - that folder is in another folder called Program Files (x86).

I did rescan when I was in the preferences window.  I guess that's what you mean right?

    Thanks,

  • When you download UVI, you have to choose the 64bit or the 32bit. They are spearate downloads. If it's in the Program Files (x86) folder, then you installed the 32bit version. You need the the other one.

    Yes, UVI will show up.

  • Bill,

I would never have figured that out.  I'll give that a try.  Thank you very much for the reply.

  • That was it - problem solved.  As soon as I installed it UVI was available in VEP 6.  I appreciate the help Bill.  I wish all my technical issues were this easy to solve.
