vep 5 will not load vsl samples into VEP5

VE Pro 5 is a host application for virtual instruments and will not load any samples without a dedicated player, eg. Vienna Instruments, or Vienna Instruments Pro. Which player plug-in are you using, and what are the envrionmental variables of your setup (OS, CPU, MIDI sequencer / DAW, etc.)?

I have vienna ensemble pro on my master server.

My older projects are continueing to work normally. Only when I attempt to add a new vsl sample to the project,

the vsl samples show up on the samples list on the right side.  But, when I click one of the samples, nothing happens.

I click the Channel button on the vienna ensemble pro 5 screen.

I select Add VI Pro

The vienna instruments pro appears with PATCH forfeit.

I select an instrument.

Then highlight the exact sample

Then double click on the highlighted sample

Nothing happens after that.

Hi Jim,

Presets and Matrices should be loaded when you do a double click.
If you want to load a dedicated patch you have to use drag and drop, because you have to decide in which cell ou want to place the selcted patch.
So it depends at which level of the VI browser you are operating. There are three Tabs at the top to switch between the categories: Presets, Matrices and Patches
