    Hi,

the end of 2016 has been full of surprises with the Solo Violin 2 / Solo Cello 2 (that sounds great for baroque music) and the new collection of historic winds. It's the opportunity to remix some old work to appreciate how it sounds now.

Here is a remix of the BWV 1069 ouverture. The baroque oboes are really a great improvement, so are the new solo strings. In this mix, i don't use yet the natural trumpets but modern trumpets with filtering, I will make a new version with the naturel trumpets in a second time.

Strings are a mix of Solo I /II, Dimension strings and Chamber strings

    BWV 1069 new MIX

    Enjoy !

  • This is sounding very good, and it would be good also to hear the natural trumpets in there.  ALso separate those violins a little more?  That occurred to me, though I don't know how... ha-ha!

  • Thanks William. I will make a version with natural trumpets, but it needs little more work because the dynamics of both instruments are very different ...
