Decouple icon does not turn of on restart. Bug or user error?

I work with all instances Decoupled. However, when I open the project, the little icon with two arrow in a circle on each instance tab is turned off.

In Logic the Decouple all button is in.I have to turn this one on and off to make the icon in VEP turn on again.

Is this a bug in the icon, or is there an error in the decoupling? Or am I doing something wrong?

Having the same issue here.  After loading a sequence in my daw (Cubase 9) the plugin has the Decouple All button lit up, but the decouple icons in VEP are not lit up.  Is this just a graphic bug?  Is everything still in Decoupled state?  Toggling the Decouple All button off and on then lights up the icons in VEP.  Even with saving this way the Server Project and DAW project re-load this way.  thank you
