  • VEPro Server output routed to channel 1

I'm using 2 instances of VEPro for playback from the new Dorico notation program (one local, one remote), and I find that the output of every Vienna Instruments instance (4 total) goes to channel 1 of the corresponding channel group in Dorico. The playback audio itself is fine--all 16 MIDI channels per VIPro instance are available and properly routed to the selected VIPro instrument--but I can't use the Dorico mixer controls per channel because each set of 16 audio channels (going from VEPro back to Dorico) is crowded together on that group's channel 1. Is there a way to have VEPro (or VIPro) keep the channels separate when it returns audio to the attached application?

Is it possible that Dorico is not routing the incoming audio correctly? Nobody has reported such a problem on the Dorico forum, which has been very active since the product was released last year. But I've used VEPro/VIPro with Sibelius for many years and I don't recall having such a problem there.
