VEP and VST3
-
Hi Paul,
Not a huge cause for concern, as most manufacturers distribute VST 2.4 plugins anyway if they are making VST3 (a prerequisite I believe for Mac and 64 bit) plugins but is there a technical reason for that, e.g. does the VST3 standard itself not allow such interactions?
I went and took advantage of the latest offer and purchased VEP6, since I had made a "template" in v5 and realised I cannot easily drop in new tracks but I must say this server/plugin combination really streamlines the workflow.
No more waiting for plugins to load in the DAW as they are already there waiting for a project to connect and all you need is MIDI and audio data in your sequencer, very nice.
Thank you for your reply.
