    dear colleges,

    we are planing to build up an HP Workstation Z840 / Dual12Core / 3.00 GHZ as a slave PC.

    Does anybody have any experiences with the HP Workstation-Series running VE Pro-Server?

    We like to use MAC Book Pro´s as Master PC.

    Don't have a great answer but I use the Z840 at work on Pro Tools 12. Solid machine. This one was 7k I think. The rig you are mentioning sounds pretty cool. I see guys slaving pc's and using Cubase on mac often

    Curious about the noise level of the Z840. I'm about to configure one and would appreciate your real-world feedback.
