  • clicks in legato patches

    Hi,

I'm getting consistent clicks in some of my FE string legato patches.
Among these are: Violin D4 up and down, (although down has clicks at the begining and up and the end), playing legato from A4 to D4 is the worst. From B4 on up the D4 doesn't exibit any clicks.

I'm pretty tired so I'm not sure if this is clear! Is there a fix for this? I've done a search and didn't find any thing a help.

  • Hi Dwayne,

I can not reproduce the clicks you mention...

Which version of the First Edition do you have, EXS24 mkII or Giga?

  • Thanks for the reply,

I have the Giga version. I must admit that I did not notice these clicks until I installed the ART files a few weeks ago. On the other hand I hadn't used the string legatos much before that.

  • No one else having this problem? When I get some time I'll detail all the problems. Thanks.

  • Hi DLC,

I was just waiting if someone would respond. My first guess was that something went wrong with the saving process in GS 3 (thatĀ“s what you meant with "installing the art-files", isnĀ“t it?).

The easiest way to check that is to extract the files that do not work again from your DVD and see if the normal gig-files are OK (they should be). Then go through the updating process again and see if that helped.

    Best wishes, Paul
