    I built a template in VEPro 6. And did midi and audio routing into Cubase. No slave computers all on one machine. 2009 8 core Mac Pro nehelem processors. Cubase buffer is at 512. I raised to next highest. Thing I'm not happy about is that the performance meter in Cubase is over the halfway mark in an empty parked session. There are under 200 kontakt instruments in VEPro. I had this same template in Logic Pro x without using VEPro and the CPU wasn't getting hit nearly as hard. Any help? Thanks

    Hi Nick, 

    Make sure that you only have the MIDI and Audio Ports set in the VE PRO Preferences that you really need. 

    Cubase handles things different than Logic, in some ways.
