  • MIR Pro and 3rd party plug-ins

    Hi

    When I insert Sample Modeling instruments in MIR Pro (using VE Pro) everything is locked and I can't move the instruments with the mouse (even those from VSL). I guess it probably comes from their SWAM player (it doesn't do that with their Kontakt instruments) but is there a way to unlock everything ? I hope I was clear. Thanks.

    sorry to hear about your problem. I don't use SWAMM player software, so I can't replicate the problem here. I strongly suggest to get in contact with support@vsl.co.at as soon as possible, including as many technical details as possible (OS, CPU, driver- and software-versions, etc.).

    VSL support team members will take care for the issue.

    Did you try to un-dock the MIR PRO window (upper right corner) and then re-dock it? 
    Does that help?

    Here are the specs of my computer : 

     

    iMac 21.5 (late 2013), Intel Core i7 3,1 Ghz, 16 Gb RAM, macOS High Sierra 10.13

    Komplete Kontrol s88, Steinberg UR44

    VE Pro 6.0.16502

    MIR Pro 5.4.16181

    VI Pro 2.4.16399

    SWAM Viola 1.0.0 (it caused the bug)

    Cubase Pro 9.0.30.266

    All my VSL libraries and 3rd party plug-ins (Kontakt libraries, Omnisphere, Keyscape…) are stored on two 1 TB Samsung T3 SSD.

    Wow. I wasted an hour figuring out what was wrong. Your workaround fixed it. Can this bug be fixed?

    I hope that this bug can be fixed soon, we have been hunting it for quite a while. 

    Right now, the focus of our development team is on the brand-new Synchron Player, but I am positive that we can offer a fix with one of the next updates.
