Hi, I'm working on a project in Cubase Pro 9. I just upgraded from Cubase Artist, mainly to be able to use the VSL expression maps. I loaded an instance of VI Pro 2 on a track and loaded the ss_violin_L2 from VSL_Strings_Expressionmaps_v.1.1. I also loaded the Expression map in Cubase. It works very well, I recorded a violin part and tweaked the articulations just as I wanted. But now something very strange is going on. The playback sound of the violin is great when the record mode on the violin track is enabled. But when I select another track while playing, the sound distorts massively. When I then enable the record mode from the violin track again (even while I selected another track), the sound is great again. But this way I cannot record other tracks while hearing the violin. When I use the violin without the expression map and for instance the VI VSL Preset Level 1, all is well (but no easy articulation switching...). Any idea what is going on here? I would very much appreciate some help....
