It sounds like a good idea. I would love Baroque strings too. I know Baroque Bassoons also existed...

Yes it is a great name and a wonderful sound of early trombones.  Seems almost essential for the Historic Winds.  Though I realize VSL has its hands full !

Well ... I had a look at the "Winds Complete"-Movie by Paul Kopf.

At 00:18 Paul says clearly " ... and the THREE great historic winds collections". That speaks for a finished Historic Winds product-line. Otherwise he had not mentioned this number.

Maybe it is planned as Single Instrument ...

They could always bring in a fourth collection and re-place the video later on in the future.

They do not like to announce new products unless they are being released in the near future.

I saw in another thread that more historic releases will be relased. These were recorded on the Silent Stage.

My hope we will see Baroque Strings.
