Hi Forum, i bought synchron percussion 1 full library at last, but i don't understand the menu of vienna instrument player.... do i have all what i bought? how can i use it? that is really complicating!!!! there is a c and d and f and special, and download.....and all have different sizes....and instruments... the instruments are not named as bought, and what packages contain is not clear to me. questions that must be answered: - 06 Sy percussion what is that? - what should be in that package? - why is it named different? - how can i verify, what i paid for? - what does it contain exactly? - where to get what i paid for? For all other POP/ROCK producers: as a pro user of logic for pop/rock, i can highly recommend using the old gigasampler vsl-versions with exs!! you will have: - no questions - what you see is what you get - latency low ONLY for POP/rock, don't search for the details then... Greets David

  • I'm sure you received everything you paid for.

    You should read the manual.

  • Hi, wich manual do you mean?

    Hi David,

the manuals of the products you bought you can find in MyVSL in Mydownloads. When you don't see any manuals there, you have to check software manuals and library manuals in the dark blue field at the top of the page. Concerning the complexity of the software I should advice you to take time to read the manuals, because they give a good explanation, concerning installation and use. There are also very instructive videos for Vienna Instrument Player. Here is the link to that videos: Vienna Instruments Videos.

    Good luck!

    Hi David,

First of all, I agree that there's always room to improve, and I'm always glad to hear about good ideas!

I thought I'd give some answers to your questions, and also piint you to the video tutorials that are provided for Synchron Percussion I exclusively.

    "questions that must be answered:
    - 06 Sy percussion what is that?"

=> That is the name of the folder that contains your sample content

"- what should be in that package?"

=> All instruments and articulations listed on the product page (you have the FULL LIBRARY).

"- why is it named different?"

=> Minor naming differences sometimes come from last minute adjustments on product page. Working titles may have been different (that's also a language thing).

=> The Library Manual should help.

"- how can i verify, what i paid for?"

    => Library Manual.

"- what does it contain exactly?"

=> Library Manual. In your case: everything.

"- where to get what i paid for?"

=> in MyVSL, with different options to choose from on the head of the page.

=> I don't see it this way at all, but I'm glad that you like our legacy collections!
