    Hello all,

    I've just picked up a couple of bits from the Synchron Percussion series and have also pre-ordered Synchon Strings I. All my other instruments are VSL but obviously they are dry samples rather than wet, and I use MIR Pro to simulate the space and reverb.

    I have the Synchron RoomPack for MIR but I'm wondering what settings I should use in order to most closely approximate the main microphones used for the Synchron Series. I'm only interested in stereo so my plan with the Synchron Strings will be to use the Decca Tree. Of course we don't have a Decca Tree microphone option in MIR, but I'd like to have something that's broadly consistent to ensure maximum compatibility between the dry instruments and the wet ones.

    Any tips re: MIR microphone choice/setup? I'm also interested in things like Dry/Wet Offset, microphone positions, room equalization, etc.
