  • [SOLVED] Where is Epic Orchestra located in Vienna Ensemble Pro 6?

Been reading around to figure out where is Epic Orchestra... to no avail.

Can't find it in Vienna nor in my DAW.

I already got my EPIC ORCHESTRA Standard Library license registered and I used the Download manger.

I see 16 Epic-Orchestra_*.dat files in my folder. What do I do with them?

    Thx, Epicurse.

    Hi Epicurse,

The sample content of your Epic Orchestra should show up in your Directory Manager. Here is a link to a quick video about the Directory Manager.

You will also need to install Vienna Instruments, the sample player for our sample libraries.

    Best,
    Paul

  • Hey Paul, Thx for your reply.

Epic Orchestra did show up in Directory Manager and created *.dat files in one of my folder after I downloaded them and install them supposebly.

I cannot find the Player you suggested. I would need a link...

I do not see it in myDownloads listed. See below

  • Thx Paul for your help...

I got Vienna Instruments & Vienna Ensemble Software 6.0 (Windows) build 16754 downloaded and installed.

    All is good now.

    Thx, Epicurse.

  • Hi all.

Paul, I have the same issue. My setup was working then suddenly can't find the Epic Orchestra. I read through these post and followed your suggestions but have had no luck. Any other help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Also, on another note, (no pun intended), can I install Epic on my laptop so I can work between to pc's?

    Thanks

    Hi Walter,

Please open the Directory Manager (find it in "Applications" (OS X) or "All Programs" (Win) => then "Vienna Instruments").

Remove all folders - then add all sample content again by drag and drop from your Finder/Explorer.

More information about how the Directory Manager works can be found in the video "How to use the Directory Manager".

    Best,
    Paul
