  • Special Edition problems (perhaps dongle?)

    I bought Special Edition and used it without problems on my last computer.  I haven't used it in a while but have just tried to install again on mac running 10.10.5.  As far as I can tell, I have downloaded up-to-date versions of everything but I am getting the error message 'eLicencer POS error message - file syncoacc.bundle could not be located in the application support folder' when I try to launch either standalone ensemble or DAW running VST.  Donlge is plugged in and glowing and worked fine before the OS upgrade.  Any advice greatly appreciated.

  • Just a guess, but 90% of the time, when I'm having trouble with the eLicenser, installing the latest version of the eLicenser and Vienna Instruments & Ensemble software solves it.


  • Yes, I had similar problems, and I got them fixed by:

    - updating eLicenser software

    - running it and 1) have maintenance and license update function running 2) verify the Licenses are still listed and working.

    - reboot.

    This process was fixing all my dongle issues up-to-now, including a "Key is corrupted and can't be used anymore" very scary message...

    Good luck and keep the outcome posted, for the records. It's always useful to know.
