    Not sure if the problem is in Logic pro X or Vienna Symphonic Library (special edition vol. 1 plus) plugin, but for some reason I can't get any of my string instruments working. All the other instruments work fine and my strings load normally, but when I start to play them I hear nothing. It shows in the top bar that it reacts to pressing keys, but voices shows always zero and no audio comes out. If I replace string instrument with any other instrument that will work fine.

    Please send some screenshots to support@vsl.co.at... you can also include your Logic song as a zip file, so we can take a look.

    I will send those pictures... I tried with reaper and I have same issue. All other instruments work fine, but no audio from string instruments.

    Here is the screenshot, looks like it actually shows 13 voices, but still I get no audio.

    This same thing just started happening to me today 3/24/18. They were working perfectly fine before but now they (VSL strings) don't play at all. The region and notes are all still there but no music is coming out of the strings. Even when I go into my other songs the strings are producing no sounds. All other instruments and vocal recordings are working/playing just fine. Only the strings are not playing. I haven't updated anything or added any new software either. Please help.

    Hi,

    Try this:

    Please open the Directory Manager (find it in "Applications" (OS X) or "All Programs" (Win) => then "Vienna Instruments").

    Remove all folders - then add all sample content again by drag and drop from your Finder/Explorer.

    More information about how the Directory Manager works can be found in the video "How to use the Directory Manager".
