    Hi All,

     

    I am ready to buy a couple of VSL individual instruments, but am a complete novice when it comes to the products.   A couple of questions:

    What is the difference between Standard & Full library purchases (besides the price, of course!)?  Is the Standard Libray adequate, with enough data?  I know that depends on what I want to do with it, but I don't yet intend to create finished products, ie, film scores, etc.

    Does VSL provide a free sample player with purchase?  If not, are there no proprietary players that will work?

    I see that 'shipping' to the USA is 25 euros.  Could that be correct?

    Hi Darrell,

    the full library contains more articulations. Look at the "Sample Content" tab on the specific product page for what you want / need.
    Every instrument contains a licence for Vienna Instruments Player. You can use VSL libraries only with this player (and the pro version of it).
    The library is download only; nothing will be shipped. But be aware that you'll need a eLicenser USB-Key. You can purchase it wherever you want.
